A dollar for a whole cake. If only. [ as in, if only being alive were that cheap. ] I'll keep that in mind then. I don't think I need anything from them right now, but I might have a few requests of my own later. Unless they can't give those to us.
[He's so stupid. He really bought that with a whole dollar.]
As a word of advice, perhaps the smaller the nature of your request, the easier it would be for them to grant it. And the less money, too, I imagine.
Miss Aika said more places were coming, and we already have a store... My assumption is other shops will be available at another time, and you may find your request there.
Right, my bad. For cake and tea. [ again, would love to buy cake and tea for a wholeass dollar when I spent $6 on two chimichangas yesterday. ]
That's...actually not bad advice. I don't think it'll be anything big. It's just if I run out of something and need a refill. [ but he nods. ] Ruby implied the same thing, so...guess we'll have to wait and see? Couldn't get a confirmation of what kind of stuff will be available to us though.
Jonas stop smoking challenge. Jonas and the like three other fucks who smoke here STOP SMOKING CHALLENGE. D really has to put up with a stupid American cop who also smokes, even his unlife is suffering SMOKERS.]
Yes, Miss Aika also did not say what awaited us. We will just have to be surprised.
Yeah...doing my best with that. [ but damn people make it a little harder??? ] Being prepared sounds great in theory, but in practice...makes you wonder if we even can.
[Yes, they do. This is why he has a preference for things.]
I think the best preparation for surprises is to not be prepared at all. Not exactly. Then no matter what happens, you'll be in a position to move forward rather than backtrack.
[ he's sort of just staring at t-chan, not really focused on him but looking in that direction while he mulls over the statement. ]
Are you not? [ the question is a little flat, like he wouldn't be surprised if that's the case given the weird amount of non-humans running around here now. ] You can be as resilient as possible and still have things you can't come back from, man. Instead, you adapt to live around it.
[ so to him, sometimes moving forward is not the same as recovering from an occurence of some kind. ]
[ LITERALLY WHY DON'T YOU FUCKS ANSWER HIM HE'S GONNA EXPIRE. ]
Agree to disagree. [ to the fact that they're saying the same thing. it's close, but there's a difference in jonas's mind that he's not really saying at the moment. ]
But isn't the question if the animal or the human is the same if they have to adapt into something else?
Thinks about Akira’s tirade about demons getting new bodies.]
No, I don’t believe that changes anything. Unless you are talking about the assimilation of different species to create a new one which is very difficult except when one is perhaps alien and can do so with a form built for it or a chance of viable offspring… which will also need to be able to reproduce.
I'm not from a place aliens are a thing. Or at least I don't think so. [ but that seems to be enough of an answer. ] Then...we'll have to see how resilient everyone here turns out to be.

Are you even any good with surprises...?
no subject
Um... And what, may I ask, is that supposes to mean, Mr. Jonas?
[WOW BITCH]

It's a question? Some people are bad when things go off-plan.
no subject
Oh. My apologies. I am alright with surprises. They don't bother me.
[Hehe. Surprises.]

That's...probably a good thing. Makes it a little easier to go with whatever happens next.

What about you, Mr. Jonas? Are you good with surprises?

I believe we're in for a lot of surprises here, so you should prepare.

What do you mean? You are human, aren't you, Mr. Jonas? After nature, they are the most resilient of all.

[Why doesn't he answer the first question. Jonas is surrounded by weirdos.]
Adapting leads to resilience. Animals do it all the time. They adapt, they survive, they live on and pass their genes to the next generation.

[Thanks...........TWEWY composer(?). The composer is Ryo.
He pinches Jonas's nose again. Just because, like... intrusive thoughts.]

anyway, d is pinching his nose and this time there's a squawk-like noise and he's trying to pull his ear just a little to get him to let go. ]
Why the nose?!

[Don't pull the ear!! He will let go of the nose to push the hand away. UNFORTUNATELY, T-CHAN PERKS UP AND GROWLS PROTECTIVELY.]

Why is he growling when you started it!?
